The thesis investigates the medley between systemic project and perception of urban space, through the analysis of the relationship city - users.
Taking a partial inspiration from walking as an esthetical act [Francesco Careri, Walkscapes. Camminare come pratica estetica, 2006] with an eye to the experiences of the urban flâneur,
I deepen the theme of the path as a process of rediscovery of the city, during its continuous transformations.

In particular is in my interest to investigate the users interaction towards those temporary situations and places which generates in the urban fabric, and which give life to deep space-time fractures, needing an identity even if momentary.
The goal is to contribute to the unification of the “city-archipelago”, representation of the weak and diffuse modernity, through a project concept defined by an innate temporal dimension.

A symbolic design matrix, able to generate debates and reflections about the cultural, physical and social sustainability of our cities.
